Boot Camp

December 12, 2011

As some of us are still finishing off our Christmas list, let me fill you in with my eternal quest for the perfect black boot. You might think it’s the easiest to find but just getting your foot inside can be a struggle. First, your ankle should slide in comfortably and it should have enough room for your calves to breathe. I would always suggest buying half or one size up so you have enough room for thick socks and if you want to tuck in your skinny jeans. The leather can be quite stiff at first but some of them needs breaking in for a comfortable fit. I don’t like a lot of bells and whistles, all I need is a classic look. The riding boot is stylish and comfortable and it’s also nice to look like an equestrian once in awhile.
